This certification seems to be real fun. Security is something which is very challenging. But i’ve gotta query. Is this certification the same as CCNa security

    Hi Syed Taukir,

CCNA Security Certification meets the needs of IT professionals who are responsible for network security while CompTIA Security+ is an international, vendor-neutral certification that proves competency in system security, network infrastructure, access control and organizational security.

Good tips on the Security + Certification. Another thing to mention is that the Defense Department in the US has mandated Security + Certification for their Information Assurance Technical personnel. DoD expects to certify tens of thousands of personnel with the Security + Certification over the next 3 years. As noted by others, Security + is a great foundation level certification for those working in IT. Furthermore, Information Security is rapidly becoming a seperate and distinct career– outside of your typical IT employee.

Stay away from Braindumps— they dilute the validity of the certification for those who got the certification the “right way”— which is by studying and absorbing the subject matter so they carry that knowledge and kill into the workplace. Folks who use braindump materials are typically memorizing the test—- where’s the validated skill set in that?
