Examination for oracle 10g certification:

Apart from the oracle university course, examinations have to be taken part in order to get certified.

OCA or oracle database 10g certified associate: this examination is a single examination for the certification. Candidate can take up this examination for attaining the certification. The exam code number is 1Z1-042. This is the starting stage examination for the certification.

OCP or oracle database certified professional: in order to qualify this credential, candidates have to earn their OCA credentials and that is the main eligibility for this OCP certification. The exam code number is 1Z1-043. Online training is available from oracle itself for the preparation. Candidates can make use of the training facility in order to perform well in the examination.

OCM or oracle database certified master: this credential can be said as the premium level of oracle 10g certification credentials. The main eligibility for attaining this credential is to earn the OCP credentials. Candidates need to pass two online training courses apart from the OCP credential.

All the above are upgrades of credentials included in the oracle 10g certification. There are no further more credentials than with OCM. Once the candidate has achieved the OCM credential, then the candidate gets the premium level eligibility in the oracle 10g certification.
